2. AZTEC EMPIRE

•It was founded in the fifteenth century in the
late post-classic period of 1430 to 1521

•Mesoamerica was located in the states of
Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo, Mexico, Morelos,
Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas to the border
with Guatemala.

Obsidian Monkey

14 cm high by 14.9 cm wide with a thickness of 17.3 cm. It is a pot
black, which seems to have been cast as the figure of an ape, is very

made of obsidian and we chose it because we noticed the mold and
the way in which it was elaborated.

Box of Motecuhzoma II

It is a box made of stone, measuring 24.5 cm high, 24.9 cm wide and

inside, outside has two crosses and seems to have recorded an
image of a sacrifice. We chose it because we were interested in what
is mentioned in it he says that it was stored objects used for rituals
as children and ash remains of warriors and rulers.

Brazier dead warrior

It is a molded brazier as the figure of a dead warrior that measures
97.5 cm high, 80 cm wide and has a depth of 62 cm, the colors are
very bright and you can see that the warrior's head is within the peak
a bird, its ears hang two hands and has a shield and arrows in his left
arm, the brazier containing a blue ribbon where you can notice three
hands out of it on both sides. We chose it because we admire to see
the monument, we marveled at her figure and what it represented.
