6. Shelter/homes
The Indians that lived in the
southwest region had one main
house. It is called a Hogan. The
Hogan is made up of wood and
clay too fill in the creases. Then
they put clay and brush on the
top.

7. clothing
Indian men wore loin cloths. The
women dressed in aprons and
leggings. The weather did effect
them when it was cold the
Indians wore wool shirts,
legging, and moccasins. They
made there cloths out wool.

8. Food
There are many different types of animals and
plants in the southwest region. The animals
they hunted were deer, jack rabbit, rattle
snake, long haired sheep, and coyote. The
plants they ate were cactus, juniper,
sagebrush, and Pinon pine bush. They farmed
too, corn, Beans, and squash, pumpkins, and
grain.
