PROJECT INTRODUCTION
PROJECT BACKGROUND
INTRODUCTION
In this final project, we are given a task to find a specific empty land to
initiate a small construction project. The size of the land must be between 50m
x 50m (2500m2) – 50m x 70m (3500m2). This project is done in a group of 2
people.
We are required to do research on each professionand their responsibilities in
the construction industry such as in the recreational area, commercial area,
industrial area, agricultural area, tourism area and residential area. We are to
include our proposal, suggestions, rationale, and sketches of our concepts, ideas
and proposaland the other requirements of the project. We are also given an
option of include the bubble diagram, the authorities involved and the costing.
For our group, we choosean empty land that is located in Subang Jaya,
Selangor.

SITE ANALYSIS AND
OBSERVATION
Microclimate :
The site is extremely hot in the afternoon at time ranged from 12pm to 4pm. It
is cooler in the morning (6am to 9am) and at night (6pm to midnight).
Drainage:
There are 2 visible drainage found along the empty site. *As seen in Existing
Conditions*
Wind Direction:
The site is not windy and has minimal wind blow.
Circulation:
The site is located beside the highway Jalan Ss16, before residential areas and
after commercial areas. The circulation of cars would be moving on Jalan Ss16
which is next to our site.
Existing Structure:
The site is covered in turfs and there are trees on the site. There is no hardscape
on the site.
