• Pedagogy is a teaching and learning process that is artistic and
scientific in content delivery. The teaching and learning process that
takes place is through interaction between teachers and students,
content and learning objectives. The teaching and learning process
also requires teachers to apply strategies, methods, techniques and
activities as a medium to facilitate students to accept and understand
the content of the lessons presented. . The 21st century requires
educators to make a paradigm shift in their delivery methods in the
classroom. 21st century learning skills are the learning skills that
students need to be competitive in the new millennium.
3. The criteria or traits of a 21st Century classroom
• There are 3 criteria or traits of a 21st century classroom. Firstly, Active learning is
the criteria or traits of a 21st Century classroom. Active learning is an approach to
instruction that involves actively engaging students with the course material
through discussions, problem solving, case studies, and other method
• Student-centric is also the criteria or traits of a 21st Century classroom. Student-
centric is transfers authority to the students, allowing them to take on
responsibility of actively shaping the classroom experience. Student-centric can
help students think critically and learn by doing and act as a resource while
students discover and master new concepts.
• Lastly, Collaborative learning is also the criteria or traits of a 21st Century
classroom. Collaborative learning is the educational approach of using groups to
enhance learning through working together. This is because learning in groups or
working together enhances the scope of learning and develops critical thingking.
Example of collaborative learning activities can be apply such as group projects,
joint problem solving, debates and more.
4. Difference between Blended Learning and the
Flipped Classroom.
• Blended learning is an educational approach that combines online
educational materials and opportunities to interact online with
traditional place-based classroom methods. In addition, it also
requires the physical presence of teachers and students to learn face
with some elements of student control over time, place, path, or step.
• Flipped classrooms are a type of mixed learning in which students are
introduced to content at home and practice working it out at school.
This is because to show the opposite of the more common practice of
introducing new content in school, then providing homework and
projects for students to complete independently at home.

design
• Lesson Organization
Computers help us better organize and present our information.
Typing up the notes in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, or
creating a PowerPoint presentation, helps us to focus less on how
we are going to teach and more on what we are going to cover.
Having the notes projected onto a big screen also helps us focus
on the overall content instead of getting lost in the minutiae.
6. • Games
Educational games are a great way to reinforce the lesson and
engage the students. Students can play pre-selected games on
individual computers, or we as teachers can project one game
onto our board and play it as a class.
• Presentations
When it comes to presentations, computers provide a fun variety
of ways for students to share their knowledge. PowerPoint is definitely
a favorite that can be used with all ages. Students can
write a story, display graphs and pictures.

We can provide online portals like Canvas through which
teachers and students can communicate via messages or
discussion boards. This encourages questions and dialogue about
classroom assignments. It also enables teachers to give
immediate feedback on any project or assignmen
