A Casa do Homem
Imagine uma pessoa que não tem lugar. Anda perdido, desorientado.
Digamos a casa, digamos o lugar, digamos o sítio. Tal como o
Ulisses volta a casa.
fundo a Terra é a nossa casa.

The House of the man
Imagine a person who has no place. he is lost, disoriented. And imagine another person who is the child of a
family, with parents, brothers and sisters, a House. The House is very important. He is always sure of himself
because if something fails he has a shelter. Say the House, say the place, say the site. As Ulysses comes back
home. He wants to return to the refuge, the safety, the comfort. The warmth of the mother's womb. The
House of the man is the womb of the mother. Where he stays and doesn't need to do anything, where he
has everything. And he is happy. And when Ulysses arrives, dying and speaking of death, there is an idea of
tunnel which is the birth of a fetus, a reminiscence. For example, the talking picture ends with the
Commander looking at the destruction of the House, because his house is the ship. But there's the ethical
side: the captain must be the last one to leave the boat, and he has a passenger which he cannot replace.
This is the great drama. He sees the entire system ruining, all his life, which is concentrated in his home. This
is the tragedy that the world suffers now. We don’t realize that in fact the Earth is our home. Therefore, one
sees the merit of the architecture and the connection of the House to the mother's womb.
