7. What next?
• 92% of staff do not know how to use Blackboard
Collaborate
• 71% of staff would be interested in using a virtual world
such as Second Life for supporting teaching and learning
• 86% don't know how to create or use audio files
• 62% don’t use images or know how to edit them
• Only 14% were aware of Xerte
• Though 31% of staff use blogs, 69% of staff do not know
how to set up or manage them
• The same goes with wikis – 18% of staff use them, 82%
of staff do not know how to set up or manage them.
