1. Recognise your tutors and know where to find the loo

5. State at least one thing you want to achieve from

12. Introductions Exercise 5 minutes each
1. Write your first name, big and bold, on the top of your sheet of
paper with a felt-tip pen
2. Find a partner you do not know too well, introduce yourself and
‘break the ice’ a little. Tell them about yourself and the things
about which you are passionate
3. Agree three positive words that describe your personality and
write them in bold on your sheet of paper
4. When you have finished go through this process again with
your partner
During this exercise you might even start to notice what the quality
of your listening is like.
16. Goal Setting Exercise 15 Minutes
1. Find a partner, someone you haven’t yet spent
time with.
2. Spend five minutes each completing the work
sheet
3. As you help each other to complete the work
sheet just begin to notice the quality of your
listening
