Incineration Capacity of 1000Kg. per Hour with Online Stack Gas Monitoring system.
Responsible for the proper upkeep & Storage of Biomedical Wastes as per the Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) developed by Waste Management Co. and Bio-Medical Wastes
(Management & Handling) Rules, 2000 under Environment Protection Act. 1986.
Responsible for the Strategic Compliance, Housekeeping, Plantation and Maintenance of
Gardens & Greenery within the factory premises.
Responsible for the Inventory Control and Management of Critical Spares required for the
Operation & Maintenance of Incinerator, Autoclave, Biological Effluent Treatment Plant,
Shredder, D.G Set etc.
Representative Samples of the Incineration Ash, PH and Caustic Scrubber Residues (FPA)
prior to their Disposal in the Secured Landfill (SLF) ( As and when the Incinerator is in
operation, the Reports are generated the next day).
Responsible for the Preparation & Maintenance of Auditable Documents related to
Incinerator Operation & Maintenance, Secured Landfill materials, Diesel Consumption in
Incinerator & DG - Sets and Documents related to Treatment & Neutralization ofAcidic,

2. Alkaline, Reactive and Incompatible Hazardous Wastes as per the rules & norms mentioned
by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Responsible for the Implementation of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy and
aspects for CBMWTSDF in general & Field Workers in particular. These include butis not
limited to making Field Workers aware about the Hazardous aspects ofDisposal ofWastes,
explaining them aboutthe Importance of Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.s) (like
Nosemasks, Handgloves, Safety Goggles, Safety Helmets, Safety Shoes, Gum Boots etc),
Issuing and Distribution of P.P.E.s to Field Workers & Administrative Staffs, Compulsory
Monitoring of Usage of P.P.E.s by Field Workers & Staff, Compulsory Maintenance of
First – Aid Boxes at critical locations, Organizing Training & Delivering Lectures on EHS
aspects, Compulsory Monitoring ofSafety Aspects of Field Workers wherever work is going
on, Monitoring of Critical Works at Critical Places with proper Work Permits(Ex: Welding
Job at a certain heightabove Ground Level), Organizing Medical Check – Up ofField
Workers and Staff Employees on periodic basis (Usually One Quarter, Health Reports of
Employees submitted to PCB along with the Quarterly Report), Ensuring emergency
Medical Treatment to all the Staff Employees & Field Workers.
Responsible for the Operation & Maintenance of Fire Safety Equipment. These include butis
not limited to Checking the Operational Conditions & other aspects related to Fire
Extinguishers of all types(Including their recharge after expiry of Life Period and ordering new
Fire Extinguishers from time to time), Keeping the Fire Hydrant Channels operational round
the clock & making water available at any given time within the Factory Premises, Monitoring
& Ensuring the Functioning of Smoke Detector Apparatus, ensuring adequate availability of
Fire Buckets at all times.
Responsible for training ofhealth care establishments regarding improvementofwaste
managementsystem in their hospital premises.
Fleet & Store Management of specially waste collection vehicles.
Coordination with Management, office, facility, Health Department, WBPCB, CPCB, Health
Care Establishments.
