10. Creating New Ideas Has Never Been Easier!
Asking valuable questions doesn’t have to be hard. It could even
become easy and fun activity you can enjoy with your kids! That’s why
at Loopkin’s activities and play programs, we offer environments
where kids can express their thoughts and visualize their ideas
through fun activities.
**Some people would say this image is a cactus. But kids, they tend to see
things differently. As you can see from the image on the right, this kid drew a
iron from the unfinished image on the left
Also, by asking various questions, which help kids find their own
answers. We also help kids pullout their creative potentials and
creative problem-solving process.
Loopkin’s activities are not arts and crafts class, sports class, nor a
music class. There is no one correct way of running the play program
since it can be changed by the solutions kid’s come up with.
11.
12. We base our play topics on something kids can easily relate to and
asks various questions. The reason why we ask a lot of questions
is to allow kids to think of their own solutions to the problem and to
express their creative ideas without any judgments.
By having an open ended problem/topic, we can ask kids a lot of
diverse questions to help them come up with incredibly innovative
and creative ideas.
“YOU GET TO THE MOON BY A ROCKET”
VS
“HOW MIGHT WE GET TO THE MOON?
As you can see, we start with asking ‘HOW’ and ‘WHY’ and by
providing different kinds of questions to the same topic, which many
times, help kids lead to different ideas.
“How might we help the animal friends to go on a picnic to the moon?”
“Mommy piggy is so sick right now, how can we cheer up the baby piglet?”

47. By asking “What should we do?” “How can we go there” types of
questions, it helps improve kid’s problem-solving skills.
Q: ‘Sammy’, what do you think is up at the moon?
I (mom) don’t know anything about the moon.
Can you show me what you think is up at the moon
by drawing it on this paper?
Q: “What did you draw?” or “Can ‘Sammy’ tell mom why you
colored that in yellow? I really~ want to know!”
Q: How might we be able to go to the moon?
Q: What do you think we need to take when we go to the moon?
Q: What would you like to take?
Can Sammy draw it here and show it to mommy?
If you help the animal friends to get to the moon, they’d be super
happy!
Complement your kid even if its something small
(ex. So Sammy is going to the moon by ___! wow! That’s awesome!

type of questions, kids gets to improve problem-solving skills
and creativity through fun activity.
Mom/Dad should also join in with your kid. Draw with your child
and try to come up with a solution as well! Then share your idea
(Why and the How) with your child. By sharing each others
ideas and stories together, the enjoyment of your child will
increase greatly.

“I think conflict resolution skill is very helpful. Through
Loopkin’s play program, my kid started to listen to other
kid’s ideas and suggest her own when there’s a conflict.
Also, it seemed like kids had a lot of fun working together
to find a solution as a team during this activity.”
