Amiral Karamürsel Primary School is located in the center of Kocaeli, Turkey and has 980 students and 49 teachers. It is the oldest school in the town and students attend from ages 5 to 14, starting in nursery classes at age 5-6 and finishing primary school at age 14. The school day runs from 9:00 to 15:00 with an hour lunch break, and most students go home during this time. Students must wear uniforms and throughout the year the school organizes trips and exhibitions.
