The rights of persons belonging to national
minorities are guaranteed by:
 Constitution
 national legislation
 international documents
Education provided for children belonging to
national minorities (Hungarian, Ukrainian, Roma and
Ruthenian) is carried out in compliance with:
 School Act
 State Education Programs (State Curricula)
 Educational standards for teaching minority language as the
language of instruction

 1 primary school with teaching Ukrainian
 1 secondary school with Ukrainian as the language of instruction
Ruthenian
 1 primary school with Ruthenian as the language of instruction
 1 kindergarten with Ruthenian as the supporting language
Romani language
 1 secondary grammar school with Romani as the language of instruction and with
teaching the Romani language
 4 vocational schools with teaching the Romani language
 20 primary schools teaching the Romani language with the CLIL methodology
