GURU’S OF TQM : 1–W Edward Deming - Best known of early pioneers in Japan in 1954 .
2. Joseph Juran – He defines quality as fitness for use in terms of design, conformance, availability, safety and field use.
3.Philip Crosby- He defines Quality as conformance to requirements not “Goodness”.
4. Taguchi – He believed it is preferably to design product that is prone to any change in manufacturing process.
5.Armand V Feigenbaum – He defined it as an effective system for integrating quality development ,quality maintenance and quality
improvement efforts of the various groups within as organisation.
6. Dr. Kaoru Ishikawa – He made many contributions to quality ,the most noteworthy being his total quality viewpoint.
