important and in this way can describe each
model of Quality Management
Management: Action and effect of
administering
Business.
Manage: Govern exercise authority or control
over a territory y and the people who inhabit
it.

3. ISO 9000
international quality management model which is used by the
majority of organizations
ISO 9000 deals with the
fundamentals of quality
management systems
including the eight management
principles upon which the family
of standards is based.
ISO 9000 was first published in
1987
It was based on the BS 5750
series of standards from BSI
that were proposed to ISO in
1979.
However, its history can be
traced back some twenty years
before that, to the publication of
the United States Department of
Defense MIL-Q-9858 standard in
1959. MIL-Q-9858 was revised
into the NATO AQAP series of
standards in 1969, which in turn
were revised into the BS 5179
series of guidance standards
published in 1974, and finally
revised into the BS 5750 series
of requirements standards in
1979 before being submitted to
ISO.
4. VDA
quality management model developed for the
German automobile industry.
The first VDA standard was for the
exchange of surface models, and was
named "VDA-FS". It has been superseded
along the way, by a subset of the "Initial
Graphics Exchange Specification" (IGES);
referred to, simply, as "VDA". Aside from
this exchange standard, VDA also
developed "VDA-PS", a library standard
for standard parts, now known as "DIN
66304".

since 1951 and was created with the aim of becoming
a tool for improving business in that country.

companies that see an opportunity in this model of

Management was implemented by FUNDIBEQ (Latin
American Foundation for Quality Management) in
1999.
That same year the foundations of American Award
for Excellence in Management published. FUNDIBQ is
a supranational organization supported and
constituted by some companies, non-profit, which is
promoting and developing global quality
management in Ibero-America.

a tool for planning and
delivery finally learning
opportunities.
This model helps organizations
to use and integrated
management of such a
comprehensive approach,
delivering greater value to
customers and stakeholders;
thus improving the efficiency
and capabilities of the entire
organization.
