This role involved selling B1 six colour presses, five colour press, B3 and digital in the North West bringing customers on board
and generating new business. This required excellent interpersonal skills as I was constantly communicating with a wide range of
people from customers, to colleagues and other professionals.
Sales Executive County Print March 2009 to September 2009
Selling B1 and Digital covering North West England and Ireland customers already established through my career in print but
also new business. Company turnover was 4 million and 40 employed. My organisational skills were of paramount importance
due to the scale of the company and the employees I was responsible for.
Sales Executive - The Website Leeds April to July 2008
Joined the Website Leeds Trade Printer selling one 32pp Heat Set Press to the commercial market specialising with on line
finished A4 and Delta products spine glued. I also produced a one off brochure and catalogue of products covering North
England, Belfast, Scotland and Dublin. I also generated new leads for the Website, which I am still pursing. Company now gone
into liquidation
Sales Executive - Polestar, July 2007 to 7th March 2008
I joined Polestar Retail team selling 16pp/32pp/64pp Heat Set Commercial Web print to my customer base and introduced
£400,000 new business to the group. This was achieved from various market sectors such as Educational Publishers, Travel, Print
management and direct end users in North England, Belfast, Scotland and Dublin. My selling skills and ability to meet customer
needs ensured both new business and also return custom.
2. Sales Executive & Ireland Sales Manager – Graphoprint, August 2006 to June 2007
I was head-hunted to join Graphoprint selling 16pp/32pp Heat set Commercial Web print. Graphoprint had recently been re-
built following a major fire. This was a brilliant opportunity to introduce my customers to a brand new facility with state-of the-
art pre-press, new presses and finishing. I generated 900k of very profitable turnover from my existing customers and new
business from North England, Scotland, Belfast and Ireland. Company now liquidated
Sales Manager - St Ives, April 1995 to July 2006
Self-starter generating my own leads based while working from my home selling commercial print in England, Scotland and
Ireland. I successfully managed customer accountants, providing all-round high quality service. Managed and over-saw all
printing orders, liaising with all sites across the UK to ensure quality of service and end product. I had many achievements such
as: Maintained contacts and won new sales orders from customer base developed in earlier career, successful track record of
problem solving on behalf of customers and as result of excellent working relationships with key customers, generated £700,000
of repeat business. I personally secured £1.8 – 2 million of turnover, producing £650k added value. I successfully generated new
new business, cold calling. Corporate entertaining. And also attending external events such as Exhibitions, conferences and print
awards..

This was my first position in selling web offset. As a self-starter I generated my old leads from my Agency and Advertising

Achievements
I represented St Ives being initially one of the first web printers in Ireland actively selling commercial print for the past 8 years I
have developed a good network and built excellent relationships with the publishing industry, retail and tourism industry
achieving million Euros.
Interests
I enjoy organising social events in my personal life. I am dedicated to charitable causes and have been involved in many runs in
order to raise money for organisations such as the Christie, British heart Foundation and Royal British Legion. Most notably I
took part in the ‘Hell Run’ at Delamere Forest and raised £600 for the British Heart Foundation.
