Our Patron blessed priest commodore second lieutenant Władysław Miegoń Władysław Miegoń was born on 30 Nov. 1892 He was a Polish Navy chaplain. Since 1 Sept. 1939 he was one of Gdynia defenders. Later he was taken to a POW camp together with his soldiers. Miegoń died in a concentration camp in Dachau on 15 October 1942. Władysław Miegoń was announced a blessed by John Paul II on 13 July 1999. He was a great Polish patriot, a brave soldier and a model citizen.
