Overall impact of livestock – climate change is important Global estimates and accounting methods helpful but global assessments can actually confuse the different realities in different regions and solutions will need to be tailored to different regions and locations . For Developing countries – overall contribution to GHG is small and relative contribution is big. Livestock will be critical to adaptation both in current and progressive climate change. They can be part of the solution to mitigation through environmental services.
