Christmas Tips and Ideas!
1. Unwrinkle last years’ bows
and ribbons by putting them
in the dryer with a damp cloth
for two minutes.
2. If your real Christmas tree
was cut more than a day ago,
make sure to cut an inch off
the bottom so the tree can
absorb water quickly.
3. Make a kids table with
brown paper as the tablecloth
and leave some crayons to
keep them busy.
4. Don’t know what to get the
person with everything? Make
a donation in their name. Or
instead of giving any presents,
make donations instead.
5. When picking out a real
tree, do a quick test for
freshness—run your closed
hand around a branch to see if
the needles come off easily.
6. Use old Christmas cards to
make name tags for gifts.
7. Don’t know what to do with
all those Christmas cards?
Stick them in the cross-
sections of a garden trellis and
hang it on the wall.
8. Collect pine cones and
branches to make an easy
centerpiece. Just put them in
a nice bowl.
9. Keep a few wrapped gifts
on hand in case you get a
present you weren’t
expecting—maybe a Foam
