SICC EIKEN
Access to the Strategic Observatory’s private zone: “Cluster Competitive Intelligence System
(SICC)”:
- Up-to-date information on the sector (good practices, news, publications)
- Periodical newsletter with news and the upcoming events on subjects of
interest (personalised choice)
ACCESS TO SPRI
Advisory services to access SPRI programs and aid aimed at carrying out competitiveness
diagnosis and/or improvement actions.
STRATEGIC ANALYSIS
The search for fresh business opportunities through analysis and strategic reflection. Access
to conclusions and working process.
COMPETITIVENESS PLAN
Participation in the launching of a Competitiveness Plan for the sector – with the support of
Biscay’s Provincial Government- and the specific actions for its development (trade missions,
studies and analysis).

EikenLEX
Responsive legal and technical advisory services, which are both immediate and unlimited,
to help deal with issues and concerns of a legal nature. All arrangements can be made
through the exclusive portal for EikenLEX member companies. The service is managed by
Landwell, PricewaterhouseCoopers’ legal affairs and tax department
TRAINING
Access to specific training activities for the audiovisual sector.
AID PROGRAMMES
Advisory services and assistance in identifying and applying for public aid in all spheres of
business activity: internationalisation, I&R&D project development, competitiveness,
training , etc.

TALENT PROMOTION>
EikenBANK
A programme designed by Eiken to seek out non-professional talent and create contacts with
the business sector. EikenBANK can offer a talent pool, in accordance with the required
profiles, to all the cluster’s member companies.
GIDOI FACTORIA
A joint measure led by Eiken and EiTB to foster the training of professionals qualified in
scriptwriting. A labour pool is likewise at members’ disposal.

INTERNATIONALISATION>
BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL
The Basque audiovisual industry’s international brand, promoted by Eiken and with the
support of Basque public institutions. Its activity allows companies to:
- Attend international trade fairs: Management of presence, together with
assistance at major audiovisual markets: MIPCOM, MIPTV and Sunny Side of the
Doc. Search for new markets
-Participate in trade missions: Trade missions to leading-edge countries in the
audiovisual sector (England, Holland, Israel, Ireland, Singapore).
FACE-TO-FACE MEETINGS
Management and coordination of face-to-face meetings with international companies during
the course of international Audiovisual Markets in which Basque Audiovisual takes part.

EikenPRESS
Support for the Eiken member companies’ communication activities through the service
rendered by MBN Comunicación to the Basque Audiovisual Cluster: it involves drawing up
content and sending it to the media.

Making Eiken’s own channels available for the dissemination of members’ activities:
website, newsletter, social network profiles.
ACTIVE PROMOTION
Promotion of member companies’ products and services at events at home and abroad in
which Eiken is participating.

AID PROGRAMMES FOR I&R&D
Advisory services for specific programmes like Gaitek, the Compite Programme, ALDATU,
etc.
SYNERGY GENERATION
Promoting the development of co-op projects between Cluster companies
ACTIVE LIAISING.
Mediation with regard to the public administration in charge of aid programmes.

INVOLVEMENT IN STRATEGIC PROJECTS>
INNOVA BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL
An initiative promoted by Eiken to foment the production of pilot programmes. This project
has helped to re-launch internationally Basque enterprise’s activity in the sphere of
television formats.
