Advertising is a marketing tactic involving paying for space to
promote a product, service, or cause. The actual promotional
messages are called advertisements, or ads for short. The goal
of advertising is to reach people most likely to be willing to pay
for a company’s products or services and entice them to buy.Eg
- Magazine ,Television ,Radio , Newspaper

A brand is a name, term, design, symbol or
any other feature that identifies one seller's
good or service as distinct from those of other
sellers

Advertisement is a social values
Social advertising is advertising that relies on social
information or networks in generating, targeting, and
delivering marketing communications. ... Social
advertising can be part of a broader social media
marketing strategy designed to connect with
consumers.
Making an advertisement
Advertising is essential in getting the peopleto buy a brand
.the queston now arise how the people who advertise decide on the type of image
,text and personal emotion to sll a product.to understand this , let us see how an
advertisement is made
First of all ,the company or the manufacture decides upon the peoduct that they wish to launch.
The company then hires an advertising agency ,
It is task of the advertising agency to find out who would be the target consumer and launch a
campaing according
The advertising agency carries out a survey across various cities and section of the socity
and comes up with a campaing to launch the product successfully in the market .
Advertising and Democracy
There is very close relationship between advertising and
democracy. Media helps to prepare cultural and
political diversity in the country. Advertising also
communicates the policies and politics of the government
to the society so that the citizens can make their opinion
about the policies and ideas of the government.
