depending on the region you live in
affecting your ability to connect to the
electronic society.

• Digital Commerce is the use of the
internet to buy or sell goods.
• Digital Commerce if done legally and
professionally can be very helpful but
there are many dangers.

• Digital Commerce can be complicated by
people trying to sell illegal items or buy
illegal items.
• An example would be someone trying to
sell illicit drugs.

• Digital Communication is the ability to
electronically exchange information.
• Digital Communication can cause
problems in the 21st century because
there is too many choices in todays
society.

complicated because there is a lot less
privacy.
• An example is even when you email
someone that email is archived unless it
is deleted on both ends.

learning of how to properly use

because most people believe they know
enough that they don't have to learn
more.

you can't teach everyone about how to
properly use the technology.

because the majority of the time the one
who teaches it may not fully understand
it themselves.

• Digital Etiquette is the standards and
procedures used in technology.
• Digital Etiquette can be hindered by
people using the technology before it
can be taught.

understanding the proper rules and

because most people don't act the same
when using the technology and therefore
can't be always taught properly.

• Digital Law works very closely with
Digital Etiquette by enforcing
consequences for actions and deeds.
• Digital Law can be hindered by not being
able to watch the entire use of
technology by everyone.

• Digital Law can be complicated because
with large numbers of people all using
the technology at the same time you
can't always get everyone who uses it
wrong.
• It can also be hard to enforce because
you can't always catch the culprit
especially when it's something that is
spread massively.

freedoms that are allowed to everyone
who uses the technology.
• Digital Rights & Responsibilities can be
hindered by different regions having a
different 'Bill of Rights'.

complicated by business and personal
using having different freedoms allowed.
• An example would be that you can't
simply use the internet whenever you
want at work like you can at home.

hindered by the others you interact with
while using the technology.

therefore affecting their psychological
health.

complicated also by people not wanting
to stop what they are doing to get up
and stretch.

protect themselves while using the
digital world.
• Digital Security can be hindered because
many people are out to harm others on
the internet.

because many companies that want to
help you secure yourself want to charge
you for it which many people don't want
to pay for.
