2. Process
In this part of the process I have
started to make the music. For
this I have decided to use garage
band as it is simple to use and I
was able to use the pre made
MIDI loops as the beats. Garage
band was also a good choice to
use as I was able to use and have
access to a large range of
instruments. I could also play
them in on the built in piano keys
that garage band gives. This
allowed my soundtracks to be a
lot more unique and original. I
used this to my advantage to
create the music exactly how I
want it, instead of trying to find
MIDI loops that I like. Finally, the
good thing about using garage
band is that I was able to layer
multiple items of audio to play at
the same time to build together.

3. In this part of my process I
started to create the background
to ’The Cove’ stage. When making
the backgrounds of each of the
stages, I created them in a certain
way so that I could edit them
easily at a later stage. When
making the stage I started of by
making one specific brick/block
then multiplying them to make a
floor or the walls. This was a
quick and easy job as it left the
map free to add objects such as
bushes or items. Finally, I made
sure to layer everything. This
made it easy to locate the floor
and if I wanted to change
anything then it was quicker and
easier.

4. Process
When making on object, I
try a few different things
to make It look more real.
For starts, when I pick a
color I try to find a darker
and less neon color to
make it look more natural.
To add details such as
shades, I add a dark
gradient next to the
original color followed by
a dark color. This gives of
the effect that its getting
darker.
