2. History
• It is a living celebration of many countries, at the
31st of october, one day before of the all saints day.
This day is celebrated from more than two thousand
and five hundred years (2500). The celtic people
believed that on the last day of summer, spirits
would leave graveyards to haunt and possess all
humans. To scare these ghosts, people decorated
their houses with scary objects, like skulls, decorated
bones and tipped pumpkins.

4. Traditions
• Children also paticipate in this festival day,
with their parents helping them and with their
own spooky fantasies, going door to door
through their neighborhoods where they
knock on the doors and say “treat or trick” so
that they have candies, chocolates and
everything sweet that neighbors might have.
