Career progression as a Project Manager; recruited into EDS (later HPES) as a Change Manager responsible
for the management of Change for a Desktop delivery to a Government customer, following a career path
through to Senior Project Manager.
Management of large scale Infrastructure and Desktop Transformation Projects, and smaller scale Business
Improvement Projects for a wide variety of high profile customers, managing cross functional teams and
controlling budgets of up to £5m.

Key Achievements
Successful management and delivery of a Programme of Change via Continuous Improvement
activities in a Manufacturing environment, working alongside the Finance Director to improve
accounting variances to identify areas of waste within the business. Building strong business plans
and managing the expectations of the Stakeholders in an ever changing environment. Successfully
led a culture of Change throughout the Business via Lean (Kaizen) training, ensuring that staff at all
levels of the business understood the initiatives and requirements. I worked hard to successfully
engage with and gain the trust of the team members and use their experience and my skills to
deliver a successful Programme of Change, resulting in an overall 15% increase in Productivity
Successful Transformation of UK Commercial Mainframe Infrastructure, requiring the upgrade of
the existing Mainframe Hardware prior to its move to a new physical location. Incorporating
customer and 3rd party supplier planning, licensing and contractual negotiation. Successful
planning and negotiation of the timescales involved and mitigation against Risks involving customer
security and finance. This was a complex and challenging multi strand Project which required a
seamless transformation with considerable risk to the customers involved. The project was brought
in on Budget and within the timescales set.
Leading a team to successfully achieve aggressive Productivity Targets within an IT Environment.
Targets set by Senior Global Managers. Utilising my Project Management skills I led this team to

Lifecycle, managing Service Provider deliverables, Planning and Release Management, part of an End to End
delivery team incorporating the development of UAT Test scripts and Functional Design Documentation.
Barclays Bank Plc (2000) – User Acceptance Test Manager (6 month contract)
Responsible for the successful User Acceptance Testing of the initial WAP Mobile phone banking application
to Barclays Bank customers.
