IQAIST: Improving Quality and
Accessibility in In-Service
Trainings for Teachers

Almost 2 years ago we were starting our project
with the objective to provide qualitative In-Service
trainings for teachers and educational staff. The
training programmes are tailored based on actual
professional needs focusing on knowledge applica-
ble to real contexts as well as personal growth and
development. Since then we developed instru-
ments, methods, exchanged good practices and we
worked at a formula for a modern pedagogical ap-
proach.
We are now almost at the end of the project, but not at the
end of the road, since we are just beginning to put in prac-
tice what we have developed in the IQAIST Project. Two
of the products that we made in the project framework are
the International Training Platform - http://
www.erasmusplustraining.net and The Community of
Practice (CoP). The platform and CoP were presented
during the dissemination event organised by EUROPA-
NET Association in Iasi, Romania, on the 4th of June
2016. At the event attended 50 participants - teachers,
educational staff and NGO’s members - from all over
Romania.
Teachers, who already have attended training courses organized as part of the IQAIST activities from Vatra
Moldovitei School, have presented testimonies of their experience to the public and have shared their experi-
ences with the others, responding to various questions related to the value that our courses could offer, pointing
out that is all the time a good way to grew your daily practice for a better involvement of students into the learn-
ing process, for decreasing the rate, the percentage of dropping up the school or the educational institutions.
During the event was made a presentation of Erasmus+ program; information on the opportunities that Eras-
mus+ offers for educational staff and teachers like possibilities for training period abroad, international cross
sectorial cooperation etc. Other organisations, involved in the event, were invited to present a project or a good
practice in international cooperation.
