the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports.
International citizens have the right and the appropriate conditions
to study in Romania and minorities have the right to learn and be
educated in their mother tongue.
The general legal framework for the organization, regulation and
functioning of education is established by the Constitution by the
Education Law.

children aged 3-6 (or 7) years and is
optional. Public kindergartens are
free, while private kindergartens in

years of middle-school education. In

9 years and runs from 6 (or 7) to 16 years.
