2. WHAT ARE MIRRORS
• It is a smooth and shiny surface that reflects all the light
falling on it.
• It is made by silvering the back surface of a glass whick
makes the surface shiny and does not let the light pass
through . Then the silvering is covered with an opaque
object to protect it.

3. TYPES OF MIRRORS
• Plane mirror : These are flat mirrors that
reflect images in their normal proportions,
reversed from left to right.
• Spherical mirrors :A curved mirror is a mirror
with a curved reflecting surface. The
surface may be either convex or concave.
Most curved mirrors have surfaces that are
shaped like part of a sphere, but other
shapes are sometimes used in optical
devices.
