1. A Brief Guide On The AUEEE 2014 & Its Various Aspects
2. Conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for
admissions into engineering undergraduate programs.
Conducted at all India level.
Held in just one mode – offline.
Date of the exam is 13 April 2014.
Candidates will be selected for admissions into
campus located at Bengaluru, Coimbatore and
Amritapuri.
Courses offered – B.E./B.Tech.

3. Date of birth of candidate – on or after July 1993.
Necessary to pass class XII or equivalent qualifying
exam.
Minimum aggregate score in PCM branch is 60%.
Individual percentage score in Physics, Math and
Chemistry is 55%.
Candidate with engineering diploma of 60% is eligible
as well.

4. Duration of the exam – 3 hours.
Paper will be based on math, physics and chemistry.
Each correct answer will credit 3 marks.
For wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
Total marks in the exam – 360.
Total number of questions – 120.
Subject wise weightage of marks – Math – 50, Physics,
Chemistry – 35.

5. Syllabus will be prepared on the basis of class X, XII,
XI.
Its important to read the syllabus before commencing
on exam preparation.
Syllabus will tell all the important topics based on
which questions shall be framed in the exam.

6. Send a request letter, demand draft of Rs.1000 to the
university asking for form.
Download the form via official website and fill it with
pen. Send the form along with demand draft of
Rs.1000.
Fill the application form online on the official website
and making payment of Rs.900.
Buy in person from university sale centers or selected
branches of bank.

7. Download the hall ticket from the official website from
1 Feb 2014 onwards.
Enter application number, password etc to download
the hall ticket.
Copy of hall ticket will be sent to email ID too.
Bring the hall ticket to the exam hall along with valid
photo ID.
Preserve the hall ticket till the admission process is
over.

8. Result of the exam will be declared by second week of
May 2014.
Candidates shall be able to see marks achieved in the
main exam.
Based on the marks, candidates will be selected for
merit list, and thus for counselling and allotment.
Result will be uploaded on the official website of
Amrita University.

9. Counselling will be carried after the result of the exam
is declared.
It will select and shortlist candidates for allotment in
various colleges and courses.
Counselling will consider merit list ranking, seat
availability, reservation norms and result of the
candidate.
It is necessary to be present physically at the
counselling.
