● Jack Johnson was born in Hawaii on 18th
May, 1975
● He is a singer-songwriter.
● He was a professional surfer until he suffered
an accident and received more than 150
stitches to his mouth and forehead. While he
was recovering in bed, he spent his time
writing songs and playing guitar.
● Johnson has played the guitar since he was
14
● He has released 7 albums since 2001.

5. He run a foundation called the Johnson Ohan
a Charitable Foundation to support environmental, art and
music education now and into the future.
In 2008 he donated 100% of his tour
profits to charity.
His bright side
Jack Johnson also donated $50,000
in March 2011 to GlobalGiving’s Japan
Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund
to help residents of the affected areas.
