2. Welcome! We are glad that you have come to Missouri State for further instruction in English. We hope to prepare you for further success in business with our MBA program at Missouri State University.

4. Admission (Through FA2011) 2.75 GPA on the last 60 hours of credit 400 GMAT composite minimum GPA and GMAT must satisfy the following formula: 200 * GPA on Last 60 + GMAT = 1,000
5. The Foundation Coursework Courses needed are based on whether you have had undergraduate equivalents. ACC, CIS, ECO, FIN, MGT, MKT, QBA, and LAW 600

8. Advising Before registering for courses, you must be approved by an advisor. The advisor helps you to select an appropriate course load. You are required to have an advisor’s approval to register each semester.
9. Taking the GMAT The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is a test of your verbal (English), quantitative (mathematics), and essay writing skills. The test is scored from 200 to 800. You must complete the GMAT before registering for your second semester in the MBA.
10. What Do We Expect? We expect that you will take 9 credit hours (9 hours in class) each semester. For each hour in class, you should expect to study at least 2-3 hours (18-24 hours per week).
11. Many of your classes will require writing assignments. Many will be 20-30 pages in length. Many of your classes will expect you to speak in class as a part of your grade. Preparing for these classes may take an additional 10 hours a week.
13. 168 Hours Per Week I’m assuming you sleep 7 hours per night. Do you? I’m assuming you won’t have to work. Will you? A 20 hour GA position will consume about 12 percent more of your time.
