1. Schedule Pre-Event Connection Opportunities
• Most people don’t engage during
webinars because they don’t know
anyone in the audience and they
don’t personally know the speaker.
• When planning your webinar,
include opportunities for attendees
to engage with each other and you
before & after the event.
2. Send Personalized Pre-Event Emails
to Build Rapport
From a real person, not a “donotreply” email
Include a calendar
appointment so
your webinar is
added to their
calendar
Online community
Personalized email
Pre-event Blog
More info about the
online community
3. Provide Pre-Webinar Engagement Opportunities
in the Confirmation Email
4. Foster Engagement During The Webinar
Webinar platforms include a
variety of tools to foster
engagement and interaction.
Use them but be careful not to
over-engage.
• Annotation / Drawing Tools
• Polls & Voting
• Open Attendee List
• Open Chat
• Private Q&A
5. Bring Along a Webinar Engagement Team
• Call on team members to elaborate on a
key point or solution.
• Ask engagement team members to spark
the first questions.
• Engage people you know (clients, friends)
• As a webinar icebreaker, ask all attendees
to introduce themselves and their
organization in the chat box. Your
engagement team can get this moving.
Colleagues, industry partners,
or subject-matter experts can attend the
webinar and support you.
6. Designate a Chat Monitor
• Choose a subject-matter expert or
specialist on the topic to monitor the
chat room.
• Provide them with presenter authority,
so they can interact with the speaker if
needed.
• Introduce the monitor at the beginning
of the program as a key co-presenter.
Share about their background and
expertise on the topic.
Colleagues, industry partners,
or subject-matter experts can attend the
webinar and support you.

  1. CHECK RECORDING CHECK AUDIO LEVEL Hi, my name is <> from iCohere and I'm delighted to be here with you to discuss & demonstrate the iCohere collaboration platform. I'm pretty sure that you don't like PowerPoint slides any more than I do, but sometimes it’s useful for us to take a broad look at what are products and services are before we dive into looking at specific iCohere site that match your requirements. So I'm going to take no more than 20 minutes (I promise!) to give you a high-level overview of our heritage and our solutions. Please ask me as many questions as you wish as we go through this short presentation.
  2. This here is a sprinkling of our clients. If you see anyone of these that you know, please let me know- I would be happy to put you in touch with them. But it’s a wide variety of clients, small medium and large, trade associations, organizations and non profits. We have several corporate clients and significant government agencies as well too. Extra: T- we have wide variety to s m and l. mostly across non profits, including prof trade assc. Corporate clients too. Signicifcant govt. agents as well.
  3. And here is the webinar presenter checklist, with everything including making sure that you have fresh batteries in your computer mouse if you’re using a desktop computer!
