As the planet warms, effects include changes to weather patterns, rising sea levels from melting ice, and the spread of diseases to new areas. To reduce global warming, humans must transition to clean and renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydroelectric power and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from activities like farming and transportation.
