Concept of organizational change could be better understood on several grounds. Firstly, organizational change includes variety of change which may not always be planned and whose objectives may not be very much clear. Secondly, organizational change also includes those changes which may occur with the passage of time. Besides being gradual and steady, these changes are necessary for the survival of organization. Thirdly and finally, organization change may not be measurable. Organization results in organizational development. This study helps to identify the various positive or negative outcome of change, preparedness of employees to accept change, various ways of communicating the changes to the employees; various support factors to employees during organizational change. Data’s were collected from 122 employees. Analysis used was Percent Analysis, Chi-Square and ANOVA.

Speech held by Professor Marco Sampietro, SDA Bocconi School of Management at the NASA Project Management Challenge 2008. In everyday life mood and emotions are often debated. A single person is well aware of their influence on his/her behavior but when we are in a working setting mood and emotions are often considered as secondary. However, studies indicate that mood and emotions have strong influence on work and team performance. Based on these results mood and emotions are additional variables that should be recognized and managed in order to obtain the desired project outcomes. Positive mood and positive emotions are often considered as related to higher performance and in general this is true, but there is more to say: counterintuitive effects are present too. In addition, if a project manager wants to improve project performance by leveraging mood and emotions, first he/she has to be able to recognize the variables that influence mood and emotions and then he/she has to work on them.

Reflexology, as a modality of Integrative Medicine, recognizes the importance of the person from a comprehensive and non-invasive care, enhancing the search for a physical, emotional and spiritual balance. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of a training program that introduces reflexology as an integrative modality in nursing degree education. Descriptive observational stud, in which 85 students participated. The students responded the SF12v2 health questionnaire and the TMMS24 emotional intelligence questionnaire pre-post the teaching program. The perceived effects during and among sessions were also collected. Their personal experience was collected as well through their own stories. Conclusions. Reflexology promotes physical and emotional well-being, facilitating an integrative understanding of the body and health. It is necessary to include them in the health science teaching programs.

Living the Full-life What is living the full-life? Consider the three basic pillars of positive psychology—the pleasant life, the good life, and the meaningful life. Living the successful blend of these three pillars is considered living the full-life. The aim of positive psychology is to scientifically study the successful blend of these pillars. Using the readings for this module, the University online library resources, and the Internet, research the three pillars of positive psychology. Based on your research, respond to the following:

Autonomic nervous system (ANS) activity is a fundamental component of emotional responding. It is not clear, however, whether positive emotional states are associated with differential ANS reactivity. To address this issue, we conducted a meta-analytic review of 120 articles (686 effect sizes, total N = 6,546), measuring ANS activity during 11 elicited positive emotions, namely amusement, attachment love, awe, contentment, craving, excitement, gratitude, joy, nurturant love, pride, and sexual desire. We identified a widely dispersed collection of studies. Univariate results indicated that positive emotions produce no or weak and highly variable increases in ANS reactivity. However, the limitations of work to datewhich we discussmean that our conclusions should be treated as empirically grounded hypotheses that future research should validate.

Enterprise Knowledge’s Urmi Majumder, Principal Data Architecture Consultant, and Fernando Aguilar Islas, Senior Data Science Consultant, presented "Driving Behavioral Change for Information Management through Data-Driven Green Strategy" on March 27, 2024 at Enterprise Data World (EDW) in Orlando, Florida. In this presentation, Urmi and Fernando discussed a case study describing how the information management division in a large supply chain organization drove user behavior change through awareness of the carbon footprint of their duplicated and near-duplicated content, identified via advanced data analytics. Check out their presentation to gain valuable perspectives on utilizing data-driven strategies to influence positive behavioral shifts and support sustainability initiatives within your organization. In this session, participants gained answers to the following questions: - What is a Green Information Management (IM) Strategy, and why should you have one? - How can Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) support your Green IM Strategy through content deduplication? - How can an organization use insights into their data to influence employee behavior for IM? - How can you reap additional benefits from content reduction that go beyond Green IM?

The presentation explores the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) from its inception to its current status in the modern world. The term "artificial intelligence" was first coined by John McCarthy in 1956 to describe efforts to develop computer programs capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. This concept was first introduced at a conference held at Dartmouth College, where programs demonstrated capabilities such as playing chess, proving theorems, and interpreting texts. In the early stages, Alan Turing contributed to the field by defining intelligence as the ability of a being to respond to certain questions intelligently, proposing what is now known as the Turing Test to evaluate the presence of intelligent behavior in machines. As the decades progressed, AI evolved significantly. The 1980s focused on machine learning, teaching computers to learn from data, leading to the development of models that could improve their performance based on their experiences. The 1990s and 2000s saw further advances in algorithms and computational power, which allowed for more sophisticated data analysis techniques, including data mining. By the 2010s, the proliferation of big data and the refinement of deep learning techniques enabled AI to become mainstream. Notable milestones included the success of Google's AlphaGo and advancements in autonomous vehicles by companies like Tesla and Waymo. A major theme of the presentation is the application of generative AI, which has been used for tasks such as natural language text generation, translation, and question answering. Generative AI uses large datasets to train models that can then produce new, coherent pieces of text or other media. The presentation also discusses the ethical implications and the need for regulation in AI, highlighting issues such as privacy, bias, and the potential for misuse. These concerns have prompted calls for comprehensive regulations to ensure the safe and equitable use of AI technologies. Artificial intelligence has also played a significant role in healthcare, particularly highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic, where it was used in drug discovery, vaccine development, and analyzing the spread of the virus. The capabilities of AI in healthcare are vast, ranging from medical diagnostics to personalized medicine, demonstrating the technology's potential to revolutionize fields beyond just technical or consumer applications. In conclusion, AI continues to be a rapidly evolving field with significant implications for various aspects of society. The development from theoretical concepts to real-world applications illustrates both the potential benefits and the challenges that come with integrating advanced technologies into everyday life. The ongoing discussion about AI ethics and regulation underscores the importance of managing these technologies responsibly to maximize their their benefits while minimizing potential harms.

Created by Mozilla Research in 2012 and now part of Linux Foundation Europe, the Servo project is an experimental rendering engine written in Rust. It combines memory safety and concurrency to create an independent, modular, and embeddable rendering engine that adheres to web standards. Stewardship of Servo moved from Mozilla Research to the Linux Foundation in 2020, where its mission remains unchanged. After some slow years, in 2023 there has been renewed activity on the project, with a roadmap now focused on improving the engine’s CSS 2 conformance, exploring Android support, and making Servo a practical embeddable rendering engine. In this presentation, Rakhi Sharma reviews the status of the project, our recent developments in 2023, our collaboration with Tauri to make Servo an easy-to-use embeddable rendering engine, and our plans for the future to make Servo an alternative web rendering engine for the embedded devices industry.
