13. Potential Art Pathways Photography Exploring the use of cameras; different types of camera (digital, SLR, 35mm film, disposable, etc...) Looking at light, matter and composition. Drawing Exploring line and tone, using landscapes to help depict line; continuous line, different types of line, etc... ICT Working with different software to experiment how images can be manipulated. Exploring different functions of hardware: scanner, graphics pad, etc... Composition Purely exploring composition and cut-off; using a view finder to decide on what to record Mixed Media Experimenting with putting different materials and media together, e.g. Photography and drawing, or painting and drawing Landscapes Doing a whole topic merely on landscapes; looking at landscape artists and experimenting with different media. Just some of the potential ways in which this could be a starting point in art.

PE Linking to sound recordings (in line with where photographs were taken) ; create a dance piece History History of the camera and photography; how it has evolved and become what it is nowadays Just some of the potential ways in which this could be a starting point across the curriculum. D&T Have a go at creating their own pin-hole camera.
