6. WORKING HOURS OF ADULTS:

8. RESTRICTION ON EMPLOYMENT

• Employment of women in night shift is permitted
only in the case of fish-curing and fish-canning

10. OFFENCES & PENALTIES

contravenes any provisions or fine upto Rs.1 lakh or both
rules[S.92]
2)If such offence continues after Further fine upto Rs.1000 for
conviction[S.92] each day on which offense
continues
3)On subsequent conviction of Imprisonment upto 3yrs or fine
same offense[S.94] upto Rs.2 lakh(min. fine
Rs.10000)or both
II)Any person who willfully Imprisonment upto 6mths or fine
obstructs inspector or fails to upto Rs.1 lakh or both
produce before him
III)Any person who publishes or Imprisonment upto 6mths or fine
discloses result of analysis of upto Rs.1 lakh or both
sample made[S.11]
