7. Feasibility specs
+ Responsive web app - Accessible on all
devices & platforms, be it through an App or
just through a browser.
+ Would use a JS Framework like EmberJS
/ AngularJS to make the an actual web app
and not just a website.
+ HTML5 & CSS3, using latest tech allowing
the app to be responsive and use CSS3
transitions to make the whole experience
more user friendly and « App Like »
+ Node.js on the Server in combination with
Socket.IO on the client, allowing for Instant
Messages like Facebook
+ Database on the server to store
conversations & matches so it can be synced
with the user when internet is available
+ LocalStorage to store form data & yet
unset chat messages until it is sent to the
server at a further point in time when
internet is available again.
+ HTML5 Cache Manifest so the app,
even through a browser, is completely
downloaded on the device and only needs
connection to the internet to be updated or
get new data.
+ PhoneGAP or Apache Cordova to make
the web app a « package » available to
download on app stores.
