managing a classroom. They only think about
presenting lessons, videos, and activities, but
never about management.

Students are deeply involved with their work, especially with academic, teacher-led instruction.  Students know what is expected from them and are generally successful.  There is relatively little wasted time, confusion, or disruption.  The climate of the classroom is work-oriented but relaxed and pleasant.

  • 10.  Teachers who spend enough time on developing preventive and supportive discipline techniques have students who generally behave better.  Teachers can provide an interesting and engaging lesson to increase motivation and reduce misbehavior.  Effective classroom management systems require much time in planning.  Be proactive, not reactive in classroom management.
