I am writing to provide a reference for Linda Hill. I had the opportunity to work closely with Linda
during the planning and production of the 2012 Democratic National Convention where I was the
Deputy Director for Information Technology for the Democratic National Convention Committee. As
the Office Manager, Linda consistently extended herself to create strategic alliances between the
Democratic National Convention Committee staff, the Charlotte In 2012 Host Committee staff and
multiple donors, vendors and service providers. Each relationship brought different communication or
commitment challenges and Linda tackled each with grace and diligence in order to meet the goals of
the Charlotte In 2012 Host Committee. Her efforts were significant in cultivating the relationships
necessary to fulfill the contractual commitment between the Democratic National Convention
Committee and the Host Committee.
Linda developed credibility with her manager and peers by taking responsibility for managing and
troubleshooting issues prevalent in day to day office operations as well as long range events key to the
Host Committee's success. Linda was often privy to confidential information while exercising
discretion when talking to the public, the press and colleagues.
As a leader, team player, and excellent communicator, she would be an asset to any team and
contribute to the success of any organization. It is for these reasons, I recommend Linda without
hesitation to hold any position responsible for office operations and/or executive support, meetings,
special events and office operations.
