The oriental Skywalk is a glass bottomed walkway situated 4,700 feet above sea level on the cliffside of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, China. It provides breathtaking views but is certainly not suited for those afraid of heights. Tianmen Mountain derives its name from a huge natural cave halfway up its summit and is located in northern Hunan Province near the city of Dayong. Reaching the summit involves a road with 99 sharp turns and climbing 999 steps, but the effort is rewarded with magnificent scenery including a collapsed natural stone arch, beautiful temple, and stunning vistas.
