screen one had to code WriteIn “Hello"
• Technology and Hardware were limited,
so coding languages were more esoteric
and less versatile.
• In time low-code platforms were
developed to make it easier to develop

• Previously DOS was the primary UI for
most systems.
• It developed to GUI where one could
click and select
• Eventually Apple invented a GUI, with
the first Windows 3.1 suite following
after. These allowed users to interact in
a more intuitive, visual way.
• The advent of messiah processors led
to better displays as well.

after rapid development platforms began to
evolve.
These platforms combined the simplicity of
