do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, butdo not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but AlifAlif

Islam is built upon Five (pillars):Islam is built upon Five (pillars):

”Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind
was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds. In
it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And
whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the
people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to
find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed,
Allah is free from need of the worlds.”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imran: 3: 96-97)

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH,

(RAFATHA)(RAFATHA) nornor wickedness (FUSUQ)wickedness (FUSUQ) nornor wrangling (JIDAAL)wrangling (JIDAAL) inin
the Hajj. And whatever good ye do (be sure) Allah knows it.the Hajj. And whatever good ye do (be sure) Allah knows it.

the HAJJ (pilgrims performing Hajj) and the MU‘TAMIR
(pilgrims performing the ‘Umrah'‘

ADABADAB as above, we can be hopeful that Allahas above, we can be hopeful that Allah will approve and bewill approve and be

expected, especially if we wish to follow in the footsteps of the Prophetsexpected, especially if we wish to follow in the footsteps of the Prophets

Though we live in a “world of causality” (Though we live in a “world of causality” (ALAM AL-ASBAABALAM AL-ASBAAB) but we) but we
believe that only Allahbelieve that only Allah is the ultimate “Causer of all causes” (is the ultimate “Causer of all causes” (MUSAA-MUSAA-
BI-BUL-ASBAABBI-BUL-ASBAAB) – the only Lord, Sustainer of the worlds () – the only Lord, Sustainer of the worlds (ROB-BUL-’AA-ROB-BUL-’AA-
LAMEENLAMEEN).).
Life, too, contains the “ups and downs” – so our response should be ofLife, too, contains the “ups and downs” – so our response should be of

THE GREAT GATHERINGTHE GREAT GATHERING
The gathering of over 2.5 million pilgrims on the plains of Arafat.

WUQUFWUQUF – “– “remain station in Arafahremain station in Arafah” is the highlight in” is the highlight in HAJJHAJJ. Only those. Only those
who are present in this gathering has attained Hajj. It reminds us all ofwho are present in this gathering has attained Hajj. It reminds us all of
the final return for everyone whether saints or sinners is the Day ofthe final return for everyone whether saints or sinners is the Day of
Resurrection, the Day of Gathering for Judgement and Accountability.Resurrection, the Day of Gathering for Judgement and Accountability.
Just like inJust like in HAJJHAJJ where Allahwhere Allah warns us against three aspects of sin –warns us against three aspects of sin –
1)1) RAFATHARAFATHA (pertaining to lewdness, sexuality, self-desire etc.);(pertaining to lewdness, sexuality, self-desire etc.);
2)2) FUSSUQFUSSUQ (pertain to sinning against the ordinances of Allah(pertain to sinning against the ordinances of Allah ););
3)3) JIDALJIDAL (pertaining to argumentation and enmity towards people).(pertaining to argumentation and enmity towards people).
Likewise in similitude (Likewise in similitude (QIYASQIYAS) to these in the Day of Judgement in the) to these in the Day of Judgement in the
Hereafter we shall be held accountable for sinning [Hereafter we shall be held accountable for sinning [11] against ourselves;] against ourselves;
[[22] against Allah] against Allah ; and [; and [33] against others.] against others.
So in life, we ought to beware and set the right course regarding these .So in life, we ought to beware and set the right course regarding these .

“O YOU who have attained to faith! Remain
conscious of (and fear transgressing against) Allah;
and let every human being look to what he sends
ahead for the morrow! And [once again]: Remain
conscious of (and fear) Allah, for Allah is fully aware
of all that you do;”
(Qur’an: Hashr: 59: 18)

“AndAnd be not like those who forgot Allahbe not like those who forgot Allah, so He made, so He made
them forget themselves. Those are the defiantlythem forget themselves. Those are the defiantly
disobedient (disobedient (FASIQUNFASIQUN).).
Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the
companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise -
they are (AL-FAA-IZUUN) the attainers [of success]. ””

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against
themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of
Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He
who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

Prophets, the Truthful, Martyrs and the righteous) and against the EvilProphets, the Truthful, Martyrs and the righteous) and against the Evil
