ALLAH’S WARNING REGARDING SOME PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE MUSLIMS

IN FOOD AND PROVISION
We have been taught to recite:

 In thisIn this Du’aDu’a we invoke Allah’s blessings in whatever provisionwe invoke Allah’s blessings in whatever provision
which we are given. What these ‘blessings’ are we do not claimwhich we are given. What these ‘blessings’ are we do not claim
to know them all, but only Allah Who is all-knowing –to know them all, but only Allah Who is all-knowing –
Wa-Allaahu a’lamWa-Allaahu a’lam..

AMONGST THE WEAK & POOR
We have been told by the Prophet s.a.a.w. :

 Do not under estimate the presence of the poor and weakDo not under estimate the presence of the poor and weak

 We are in fact being tested with their presence, such thatWe are in fact being tested with their presence, such that
by our rightfully fulfilling their rights, we may deserve beingby our rightfully fulfilling their rights, we may deserve being

IN EVERY UNDERTAKINGS

PRESENCE OF THE RIGHTEOUS
““Verily, through (the blessing of) a righteous Muslim,Verily, through (the blessing of) a righteous Muslim,
Allah will avert calamity for a hundred householdsAllah will avert calamity for a hundred households
amongst his neighbours.”amongst his neighbours.”

CLARIFICATION ON THE INTERPRETATION OF HADITH

 There are some who use this Hadith (and their ‘interpretation’ ofThere are some who use this Hadith (and their ‘interpretation’ of

ALLAH SWT. COMMAND US US TO HONOUR :

ALLAH SWT. HIMSELF PRAISES PROPHET MUHAMMAD :

standard of character (standard of character (KHULUQIN – ‘AZEEMKHULUQIN – ‘AZEEM).”).”

“O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the
voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk,
as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your
deeds become vain and ye perceive not.”

ALLAH SWT. LIKENS OBEDIENCE TO THE PROPHET
MUHAMMAD S.A.A.W. IS OBEDIENCE TO HIMSELF :

““Those that lower their voice in the presence ofThose that lower their voice in the presence of
Allah's Messenger― their hearts has AllahAllah's Messenger― their hearts has Allah
tested for piety (tested for piety (LIT-TAQWALIT-TAQWA) : for them is) : for them is
Forgiveness and a great Reward.”Forgiveness and a great Reward.”

TRACES FROM THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W.

““The Messenger of Allah s.a.a.w. came to visit us at noonThe Messenger of Allah s.a.a.w. came to visit us at noon
and was givenand was given water for wudhu’water for wudhu’ (ablution), and he made(ablution), and he made
wudhu’ , after which people collected the wudhu’ (water)wudhu’ , after which people collected the wudhu’ (water)

THE SHIRT OF PROPHET YUSUF A.S.

CONSIDER THIS QUR’ANIC VERSE

Tafsir Ibnu Katsir:
Ibn Jarir related that Ibn `Abbas said about this ayah –
BAQIYYAH – referring to, Moses' staff and the remnants of
the Tablets. This is the same Tafsir of Qatadah, As-Suddi , Ar-
Rabi` bin Anas and `Ikrimah, who added, "And also the
Torah.‘‘

RUBUBIYYAH and ULUHIYYAHRUBUBIYYAH and ULUHIYYAH..

 UpholdingUpholding TAUTAUHHEEDEED does not mean one must deny thedoes not mean one must deny the
presence of and the validity in seeking of the bounteouspresence of and the validity in seeking of the bounteous
blessings (blessings (BARAKAHBARAKAH) of Allah.) of Allah.

 What differentiate us from theWhat differentiate us from the MUSHRIKEENMUSHRIKEEN is theis the
erroneous belieferroneous belief ((AQEEDAHAQEEDAH) they hold. Many of them) they hold. Many of them
subscribe tosubscribe to HHULULULUL (divine in-dwelling) and actually(divine in-dwelling) and actually
regard these things or the persons they venerate orregard these things or the persons they venerate or
sought blessings from (sought blessings from (TABARRUKTABARRUK), as possessing), as possessing
“divine” aspect or attributes – thus a clear“divine” aspect or attributes – thus a clear SHIRKSHIRK
(ascribing partners to Allah(ascribing partners to Allah).).

 Whereas Muslims withWhereas Muslims with TAUTAUHHEEDEED do not hold such belief.do not hold such belief.
Our concept of something regarded as “Our concept of something regarded as “sacredsacred”, totally”, totally
rejects all such suggestion of any Divinerejects all such suggestion of any Divine “in-dwelling”“in-dwelling” oror
“incarnation”“incarnation” oror “union”.“union”.
 Thus ‘Umar al-Khattab r.a. said to the black stoneThus ‘Umar al-Khattab r.a. said to the black stone
((HAJR-AL-ASWADHAJR-AL-ASWAD):): “You are but a stone which cannot“You are but a stone which cannot
benefit nor harm, but because I have seen the Prophet s.a.wbenefit nor harm, but because I have seen the Prophet s.a.w
kissed you, I now kiss you!”kissed you, I now kiss you!”

LAA- ILAA-HA- IL-LALLAAHU - WALAA- ILAA-HA- IL-LALLAAHU - WAHHDAHU –DAHU –
LAA – SHAREE-KA LAH, LAHUL-MULKU –LAA – SHAREE-KA LAH, LAHUL-MULKU –
WALAHUL-WALAHUL-HHAMD, WA-HUWA - ‘ALAAAMD, WA-HUWA - ‘ALAA
KUL-LI- SHAY -INQ- QADEER,KUL-LI- SHAY -INQ- QADEER,
““There is no god (none has the right to be worshipped)There is no god (none has the right to be worshipped)
except Allexcept Allaah, alone, without partner, to Him belongsh, alone, without partner, to Him belongs
all sovereignty and praise and He is All-Powerful overall sovereignty and praise and He is All-Powerful over
all things .”all things .”

CAUSE FOR THE LOST OF HONOUR AND BLESSINGS.

““When my community (ummah)When my community (ummah) glorify worldlyglorify worldly
mattersmatters then thethen the HAIBAHHAIBAH (honour) of Islam will be(honour) of Islam will be

Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to anyone
who offers you a salutation (salaam): "Thou art none
of a Believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this
life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant.”
(Qur’an: An-Nisa’: 4: 94)
