Note : “The Book Traveler” could also suit any
CLIL project
4. Objectives
• Engage and motivate the learners
• Enhance pleasure in reading
• Activate creativity and innovation
• Improve students’ competence in
writing (both in Mother Tongue and
Foreign Language)

• Ice-breaking activity : each student presents
himself as a book character using voki or
present me
• Each partner group chooses the representing
character of their literature ( vote or poll )
using polldaddy or google form
• All the participants choose the representative
character of the whole project ( vote or poll)
7. • The elected character will be the
Book Traveler
• In order to “open doors”( using animoto)
to the traveler ,the host country prepares
a questionnaire ( using google form or
zoomerang) concerning its own literature
( True / False, Multiple Choice, Webquest
etc )

• All the participants answer
8. • When the right answers are given, the book
doors are wide open and the Book Traveler
enters the book of the country to interact with
the story
• The students of that country re-write the story
( using a Wiki on the TwinSpace or wikispaces
or google docs )
• Meanwhile, the others create
drawings, music, scenery ( using any tool for
image and sound editing ) according what they
have learnt about this country’s literature

9. • Finally The Book Traveler visits every country
• Our collaborative book is born ( using issuu,
calameo, my ebook)
and The Book Traveler is ready to fly to other
countries !

a never-ending project !!!
10. Products and dissemination
• All of the products are available on-line and
for free
• For this reason, the ebook and the other
materials will be at disposal of new users
(teachers and students) for future projects
… and the story goes on …
