Non-criminal lawsuits are used to settle disputes between two individuals or groups. Criminal Law The body of law that deals with crimes and the process for punishing criminal actions. Juvenile Law An area of criminal law which involves criminal offenders under 18. Military Law The body of law which is made up of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). The UCMJ is the set of laws that apply to individuals in the armed forces for crimes committed.
