4. DEFINITION OF DESERT
It is the place where nothing grow
except tough plant.
It provide food for the hardest sheep
which are carried by nomadic people
who live in deserts.

6. FEATURES OF DESERTS
In deserts some valuable minerals such as oil are
found there.
In the Muslim world there are almost 3 quarters of
deserts.
There is Sahara desert in Africa which makes up 60%
of the total desert area in the world.
In Arabia is Somali desert.the Kyzyl in Uzbekistan and
Dasht-e-Lut in Iran.

8. SEMI DESERT AND SCRUB LAND
There is little rain but not enough for crops.
The temperature in daytime is hot and cold during
night.
The crops are eaten by wandering animals such as
goat and sheep.
But their wool is valuable in Pakistan for making
carpets.
