18. Envy is permissible only in respect of two men: one whom Allah gives his book, and who stands reciting it day and night, and a man whom Allah gives wealth, which he gives in charity day and night.
19. The believer who recites the Qur’an is like a citrus fruit- its fragrance is pleasing and its taste is sweet.

Allah exalts some people and lowers others by this Book “On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur’an and those who acted according to it will be brought with Surah al Baqarah and Surah Aal Imran preceding them like two clouds or canopies with light between them or as though they were flocks of birds in ranks pleading for the ones who recited them.” (Muslim)

HEALING FOR THE HEARTS “And We send down of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) nothing but loss”. [al-Isra’ 17:82] “O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur'an, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that which is in your hearts”. [Yoonus 10:57]

23. The Qur’an tells us how to communicate with the source of all intelligence and the source of all life.

25. “And whoever turns away from My Remembrance (the Qur’an), for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up, on the Day of Judgment, blind. He will say, ‘O May Lord! Why have you resurrected me blind, when I used to see (in the world)? Allah will respond, ‘Likewise (in this manner), Our verses came to you, but you ignored them. And, likewise, today you shall be ignored.” (20:124-126)
26. “The Qur’an will meet its companion on the Day of Judgment when his grave is opened for him, in the form of a pale man. It will say to him, ‘Do you recognize me?’ He will say: I do not recognize you.’ It will say: ‘I am your companion the Qur’an, who kept you thirsty on hot days and kept you awake at night. Every merchant benefits from his business and today you will benefit from your good deeds.’ He will be given dominion in his right hand and eternity in his left, and there will be placed on his head a crown of dignity, and his parents will be clothed with priceless garments the like of which have never been seen in this world. They will say: ‘Why have we been clothed with his?’ It will be said: ‘Because your son used to recite Qur’an.’ Then it will be said to him: ‘Recite and ascend in the degrees of Paradise,’ and he will continue to ascend so long as he recites, either at a fast pace or a slow pace.
