2. For me ‘old school’ music
is the kind of music
between late 90’s to the
70’s. Old school music is
pure, it doesn’t blend its
genre with other kind of
music

3. New school music on the
other hand involved a lot
of mixture. These days we
could easily found Rock-
Disco, POP-Disco, or
Alternativ Garage. It’s
hard to categorized music
into genre thesedays.

4. Looking at the music
industry nowadays, people
tend to sell music
spesifically to different
segment. So ‘new school’ to
a particular place could
mean something, but in
another location it could
mean a totally different
matters

5. Popularity in music
nowadays doesn’t goes
lineary with quality. A
certain music could get
popular although it lack of
“ear nutrition”.

confirmation what’s
happening today. But in my
opinion, Youtube is
dangerously more
influential among the indie
musician.
