PROFILE:
As a licensed architect in Guatemala I had the opportunity to work in different projects starting as a
drafter in 2009 and ending as project designer and project manager for Studio Domus a renowned firm
in Guatemala, which gave me the opportunity to gain great experience, however I recognized that the
difference in quality of architecture from the United States and Guatemala is great, for that reason I
decided to reevaluate my knowledge, I started doing trips to study architecture in different cities in the
world and finally in 2012 I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship (sponsored by the Bureau of Education
and Cultural Affairs of the United States) and started my Master of Architecture II in Clemson University.
I am passionate for architecture, I believe that through good design an architect can guide and help
change different realities. I see myself as a proactive leader, always striving for excellence and
innovation with a strong sense of responsibility for the building’s users and the environment.
