Luminaire housing shall be made from sheet steel electrically welded and finished
white. The luminaire shall be provided with specular optic system of high
performance aluminum louver set within an involute central baffle system. An internal
polycarbonate foil shall soften the light distribution. The tri dimensional Bess optic
shall ensure η > 69%, Intensity of > 200 cd/klm at 0°, and Imax of 410 c/klm at 30°.
The louver shall ensure very low brightness appearance. UGR values in both axes of
viewing shall be < 15 for all S/H ratios. The luminaire shall be supplied with lamps

The luminaire incorporated in the design of the lighting system shall be Type F 2 and
comply with all specifications as detailed under Type F2. The lighting system shall
comply with the specifications and lighting parameters defined under Table 2 –
Football Practice Pitch lighting system. The luminaire shall be mounted on top of 16
meter high poles as defined.

The control gear shall be mounted in special customized panels, sufficiently
ventilated and cooled. Each mast shall have an independent panel in close proximity
to the mast and shall allow for switching of the lighting system from Switch Mode to
Switch Mode to testing and maintenance purposes. The Switch Mode selector shall
be capable of addressing the entire lighting system completely in a single operation.
The panels and Switch Mode selector shall be as per details indicated in drawings
and to engineers’ final approval. The system shall provide to extreme flexibility in
terms of usage.

A single mast with its own luminaires shall be read as Type FL 2. This shall be limited
to a 16 meter high mast with 6 numbers of fixtures, each 2 KW.
