3. The RIGHT PoseLook it over, is it choice “a” or “b”? Choice “A” Choice “B” The true answer is neither - If you look at “A” you can see that the hair totally destroys the top, collar wise. And for “B” the hair isn’t the problem, but if you look at the hands, you can see that one hand is inside the cuff.

4. What is considered correct As you can see in this picture, the correct thing to do is have you hair tucked back or out of your face, non-distracting shoe, a small accessory (if any at all) and a pose that shows the entire product with ease. Depending on developer, you can be creative with the poses, accessories and so on – but as a standard you need to go simple.

5. Tips You get to add your own selection of products if you are only modeling one item. But do remember that you are trying to show off desired product – this means no distracting details such as shoes, accessories or even the hair. Make the specific item the focal point at all costs – even if that means you not getting to wear your favorite item! When choosing a pose, choose one that fits the theme of the product. Like Iki’s top for example, you wouldn’t want some sexual-intended pose (unless requested) to display a casual top. Choose wisely! If you are editing your own picture – please make sure to not use a “busy” background. If you’re more intrigued to look at the background and not the product, then there was no point in you modeling it – all eyes won’t be on you OR the product!
