Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressure Dalton’s Law of partial pressure : The total pressure of a mixture of non-reacting gases in a system is the sum of their partial pressure. P Total = P 1 + P 2 + P 3 +P 4 + …….+P n Partial pressure of a component : The pressure that would be exert if it were present alone and occupied the same volume as in the mixture.
